Responsibilities
- Architect, design, simulate and validate thermal performance of microelectronic devices and systems.
- Model thermal system for thermal response simulations.
- Perform transient and steady state thermal response simulation.
- Measure thermal performance with varying power user cases.
- Define and characterize thermally enhanced materials and processing (such as thermal interface materials) for hardware components and systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Masters or PhD degree preferred.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in thermal analysis and thermal measurement.
- Fundamental understandings on thermal conduction, convention and radiation.
- Experience in Python, MATLAB or C++ coding.
- Experience with Ansys Icepak, Flotherm or equivalent.
- Working knowledge on Cadence Allegro, Redhawks SCET, CAD tools, Ansys mechanical simulation tools is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
