This role plays a pivotal role in our success by identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent for our five Accor properties including Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, Pullman Cairns International, Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, Hotel Woolstore 1888 and Peppers Marysville.
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate administrator who will be responsible for executing end-to-end recruitment processes, building strong relationships with candidates, and collaborating with hiring managers. Job Description
As part of our Portfolio Talent & Culture team, this is more than a recruitment role, it’s a chance to build relationships, shape culture, and make a tangible impact.
This is a Full Time position with the role ideally based at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort or Pullman Cairns International, with flexible working options available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support effective recruitment strategies
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle - from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviews and onboarding
- Leverage multiple recruitment channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks
- Along with the wider Talent & Culture team and Hiring Managers, identify and nurture a strong talent pipeline for current and future opportunities
- Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience from first contact to hire
- Stay informed on industry trends and market insights to remain competitive
- Champion our Accor brand through active participation in recruitment initiatives and external talent campaigns
Qualifications
- Clear written and spoken communication skills & with the ability to professionally engage candidates and hiring managers along with a high level of attention to detail
- You are friendly, approachable, and confident when speaking with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks such as advertising vacancies, scheduling interviews and keeping track of applicant progress and the ability to adapt to challenges such as scheduling conflicts or hard-to-fill roles.
- Great time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet recruitment deadlines.
- Comfortable using recruitment platforms, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Open to feedback and keen to develop skills in sourcing, screening, and hiring.
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive candidate and company information.
