Toast is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join their team, contributing to attracting talent for their all-in-one restaurant platform. This role involves managing the full recruitment cycle, focusing on building candidate pools, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and adapting to diverse hiring needs. The position requires collaboration, expertise, and strong relationships with business partners. Responsibilities include meeting recruiting goals, engaging top talent for Sales and Customer Success, exercising sound judgment, navigating complex hiring scenarios, and partnering effectively with hiring managers. The role also emphasizes delivering diverse pipelines, supporting inclusive hiring practices, leveraging recruitment data, and providing exceptional customer service.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience or equivalent
  • Experience in high-volume and/or specialized recruiting
  • Proficiency in using recruitment data and metrics
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of recruiting across multiple functions

Job Details

Toast is driven by building the all-in-one restaurant platform that helps restaurants operate their business, increase sales, engage guests, and keep employees happy.  As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll be a key part of our TA team, contributing to how we find and attract talent at Toast. You'll manage the full recruitment process, focusing on building strong candidate pools, making sure candidates have a great experience, and adapting to different hiring needs.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Deliver on recruiting goals and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and changing business needs.
  • Attract, recruit, and engage top talent for Toast’s Sales and/or Customer Success functions.
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision-making in all aspects of the recruitment process, balancing the needs of the business with candidate experience.
  • Skillfully navigate complex and ambiguous hiring scenarios, effectively partnering with hiring managers to clarify requirements, align expectations, and drive decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers through regular recruiting syncs, effective communication, and subject matter expertise.
  • Help deliver on key business needs by providing creative solutions and adapt recruitment strategies to address market conditions.
  • Deliver diverse pipelines and support inclusive recruitment processes by educating hiring managers and the business on inclusive hiring practices.
  • Leverage data and key recruitment metrics to drive an efficient, equitable, and impactful search that ensures the right talent is matched with the right opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Share ideas, updates, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

 

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Typically requires 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience with a proven track record of recruiting across multiple functions and business units.
  • Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in high-volume and/or specialized/bespoke recruiting, successfully partnering with hiring managers to fill niche and specialized roles across Sales and/or Customer Success functions.
  • Proficiency in leveraging recruitment data and metrics to impact hiring decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
