Job Description

As a Talent Development Lead, you will partner with Learning Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and Instructional Designers to create blended, interactive media learning experiences and design effective leadership learning interventions that impact performance. You will drive strategic growth by shaping talent development initiatives aligned with organizational goals, influencing employee performance, engagement, and retention through impactful training programs and leadership coaching. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering leadership development programs, evaluating training effectiveness, executing talent development programs tied to corporate goals, and collaborating with subject matter experts on learning experience design. You will also assist with outsourcing program development and delivery, researching content, and recommending updates to existing leadership training materials. Tracking and reporting progress against delivery goals using appropriate technology is also a key responsibility. A Bachelor of Arts/Science in Instructional Technology, Multi-Media Development, Video, Business, Adult Learning, or a related field is highly preferred.
Must have:
  • 8-12 years of experience in talent development
  • Understanding of adult learning theories
  • Experience in needs assessment
  • Experience in instructional and eLearning design
  • Experience creating job aids and training guides
  • Experience in public speaking and facilitation
  • Experience delivering training in-person and virtually
Good to have:

This position is responsible for designing and developing effective leadership learning interventions that impact performance.  

Scope:

  • As a Talent Development Lead, you could drive strategic growth by shaping talent development initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • This role can significantly influence employee performance, engagement, and retention through impactful training programs and leadership coaching.
  • With the growing emphasis on upskilling and continuous learning, your expertise positions you as a key contributor to the organization's long-term success.

What you’ll do:

  • Designs, develops & delivers leadership development programs based on agreed business parameters. Leverage appropriate multi-media development, ensuring solutions are scalable and sustainable. Deliver training and facilitate sessions, both in-person and virtually, to small and large global audiences
  • Evaluate various types of training that enhance required knowledge, skills or behaviors or address organizational development gaps.
  • Works with Talent Management leadership to execute on the talent development programs tied to the company’s overall corporate goals and initiatives.
  • Works with subject matter experts on learning experience, courses, or program development to define what learners need to know and incorporate appropriate learning technologies in the learning experience
  • Assists with the outsourcing/out-taking of program development and delivery from external vendors identified by department leadership
  • Research content and gather information from a variety of sources to create engaging learning programs to increase organizational effectiveness
  • Recommend and implement updates to existing leadership training materials for continuous improvement of course content and program delivery techniques
  • Use appropriate technology and processes to track and report progress against delivery goals.
  • Develop and maintain instructional design / instructional media skills and knowledge.

What we are looking for:

  • BA/BS in Instructional Technology, Multi-Media Development, Video, Business, Adult Learning or related field highly preferred.
  • 8 to 12yrs of experience in talent development
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning theories, needs assessment, and instructional and eLearning design
  • Experience with the creation of various training resources, including job aids, training guides, facilitator guides, and participant materials
  • Experience in public speaking, facilitation, and training delivery both in-person and virtually.
