MIPS seeks a Technical Product Marketing Engineer for datacenter products. You'll create marketing plans, drive product roadmaps, perform competitive analysis, and engage with customers and partners. Experience in datacenter markets, networking, storage, AI, and RISC-V architectures is crucial.

MIPS is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Engineer to be responsible for all Go-to-Market activities worldwide for datacenter products. In this role you will beresponsible forcustomer and partner engagement activities for thesekey market segments and grow demand for current products while defining and driving the creation of the next generation. You willwork closely with sales and FAEs to engage our partners. This is an excellent opportunity to work with industry leaders to help to identify and define creative solutions for the future.

In this role, you will:

Create and execute a global marketing plan to expand MIPS brand and online presence
Work with Product and R&D leads to create marketing-driven product roadmap, and portfolio campaign strategies
Create competitive analysis that includes a technical side-by-side feature comparison, bench testing with analysis of performance in steady state, BOM cost analysis and review of all external components for appropriateness and potential substitution if able
Creation of collateral including presentations and white papers, for your products and their applicability to customer applications
Be the main contact for PR agencies and drive overall strategy for product
Perform ongoing market research to look for new trends or sub-segments in the high-performance compute space and identify new potential customers

Ideally, you’ll have:

Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of advanced technical marketing & roadmap strategy development experience in datacenter markets.
Familiarity with networking, storage, AI, and/or communications infrastructure products and ecosystem
Understanding of RISC-V, ARM, MIPS,embedded CPUarchitectures, as well as system-on-chip (SoC) architectureand performance considerations
Strategic planning, analyzing business developments, sales forecasting and monitoring marketing trends for semiconductor products
Business Development to drive revenue and market share growth
