Job Description

The Technical Solutions Consultant, Customer Experience role at Google's gTech Ads Sellside focuses on providing scalable solutions for sales teams and publishers worldwide. Responsibilities include analyzing and resolving complex technical problems related to data and tool access, optimizing workflows, collaborating with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve Google tools, and working with Consumer and Engineering teams to enhance troubleshooting efficiency and user experience. The role involves managing stakeholder expectations, communicating with internal and external teams (consumers, advertisers, publishers), providing technical and business feedback, and delivering technical solutions. This position requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. The team works cross-functionally and globally to support and improve Google's ad products.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
System design or programming experience (Java, C++, Python)
Technical troubleshooting and stakeholder management
Collaborate and drive technical decisions
Analyze and resolve complex technical problems

Good to have:

SQL/MySQL knowledge
Unix/Linux experience
Project management skills
Ability to travel

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

Knowledge of SQL/MySQL, and Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver and drive technical decisions with various sized customer stakeholder groups.
Ability to travel to meet with specific partner and client stakeholders.
Strong technical leadership, project management, analytical problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve complex technical problems and roadblocks around data and tools access.
Identify opportunities to optimize and automate workflows across a wide variety of projects.
Work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve or develop new Google tools and products.
Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write complex code and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external consumers, advertisers, and publishers to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions.
