Role Description & Responsibilities

• Become the documentation expert like technical manuals, user manuals, software documentations for the software subject areas to which you are assigned.

• Gather technical information by doing hands-on testing of software, reviewing specifications, and meeting with subject matter experts and other team members.

• Document the software using concept, task, and reference-based formats.

• Maintain schedules and share documentation status with stakeholders.

• Install product builds and test functionality against the documentation for improving the usability and technical quality of docs.

• Review UI labels and content in apps and provide feedback to the product define team.

• Ensure cross-team coordination by working with development, QA, product definition, product management, and support staff as needed.

• Implement edits in the documentation as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field.

• 10+ years of technical writing experience, with a strong portfolio of technical documentation.

• Proven experience converting technical documents from Microsoft Word and Adobe.

• Solid understanding of content conversion methodologies, including style-to-tag mapping and metadata management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the semiconductor or software industry.

• Experience with automated conversion tools and scripting.
