Role Description & Responsibilities

Become the documentation expert like technical manuals, user manuals, software documentations for the software subject areas to which you are assigned.

Gather technical information by doing hands-on testing of software, reviewing specifications, and meeting with subject matter experts and other team members.

Document the software using concept, task, and reference-based formats.

Maintain schedules and share documentation status with stakeholders.

Install product builds and test functionality against the documentation for improving the usability and technical quality of docs.

Review UI labels and content in apps and provide feedback to the product define team.

Ensure cross-team coordination by working with development, QA, product definition, product management, and support staff as needed.

Implement edits in the documentation as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field.

10+ years of technical writing experience, with a strong portfolio of technical documentation.

Proven experience converting technical documents from Microsoft Word and Adobe.

Solid understanding of content conversion methodologies, including style-to-tag mapping and metadata management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the semiconductor or software industry.

Experience with automated conversion tools and scripting.
