Test Engineer

General Purpose:

Their primary duty is following MRD/PRD/FRD to validate Corsair systems under development to check if product can meet HW/FW/SW requirement and find out issues during EVT/DVT phases.
The secondary duty are issues tracking/testcases create/maintenance. For Issues Tracking, they need to check issues with engineers/vendors for finding root causes and solution. For Test Cases Creation/Maintenance, they need to base on latest MRD/PRD/FRD to create/maintain test cases for corresponding products.
The third duty is Inventory/Test environment management. They need to do regular inventory/test environment maintenance to ensure test equipment status and test environment are good for testers use.
The fourth duty is vendor contact window. To communicate with vendors for getting FW/SW solution to align FW/SW status with testing purpose.

。Able to complete testing and file results with minimal oversight
。Solid knowledge of PCs, PC components
。Good logical thinking to troubleshoot problems between different components
。Full of patience and attention to detail for completing test cases and test result recording.
Responsible for:
System Validation Tasks, including
。Hardware/Firmware/Software/Image/APP....testing
。Testcase creation and maintenance
。Microsoft WHLK testing
。Image material preparation. ex: Drivers/Marketing assets...etc
。Inventory Management: Test Equipment recording and maintenance
。EVT/DVT systems assembly/disassembly
。Completing Jira/ Smartsheet test cycles
。Issue tracking with Engineer and Vendors
。Developing schedules and detailed test plans
。Identifying product issues and record
。Vendor contact window for getting FW/SW solutions 

Essential Skills and Experience:

。BS , MS preferred or equivalent yeas of industry experience
。Full of patience, logical thinking, highly proactive, eager to learn
。Proficient in PC assembly/disassembly, OS/driver/app installation
。Microsoft Windows test software or application experience is a plus
。Self-motivated, team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
。Strong technical skills with extensive hands-on experiences in design quality assurance
