Test Engineer III

Kavaliro is seeking a Test Engineer III to support a client in Maryland.

Job Description:
Kavaliro is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to support mission-critical programs within the intelligence community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing methodologies, system evaluation, and quality assurance processes across complex systems. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, high-security environments and has experience across programs of similar scope and complexity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans, and procedures for software and hardware systems.
• Conduct system, integration, and regression testing across various environments.
• Evaluate test results and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and analysts to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Document all test processes and results, ensuring traceability to requirements.
• Support test readiness reviews, test reporting, and performance validation.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Test Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant TE experience may be substituted.

Desired Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with automated test tools and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of system architecture and data flow.
• Experience in high-side or mission-critical operational environments.

Location:

• Fort Meade, MD
• This position is onsite and there is no remote availability

Clearance Requirement:

• Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
