Job Description
The successful candidate will have prior compliance experience dealing with trading and derivative products in fintech/digital assets and/or financial services industries. They will work closely with the Trading, Product, Risk, Operations, Legal and the rest of the Compliance team to further mature the trade compliance program, controls, and processes to monitor all trading practices and drive market integrity, fairness, and transparency. This will include developing a robust compliance framework for our expansion into derivative licenses and relevant obligations. The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process-driven environment and be able to adapt and adjust to business and regulatory changes on-the-fly. They should also have strong prioritization skills and a willingness to get the job done. Most importantly, they will drive results and significantly grow and improve the compliance, governance, and controls framework of our trading capabilities.
Must have:
- BA/BS in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of experience in trading advisory compliance or related fields
- Proficiency with trading and investment products
- Strong regulatory knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork
- Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment
Good to have:
- Knowledge of digital assets trading market structure a plus
- Basic understanding of liquidity management a plus

About the Team
The Compliance function at OKX is responsible for the overall compliance culture at the company. We are a team of risk-minded problem solvers who advise the business on the company’s regulatory obligations and enterprise risk.
About the Opportunity
The successful candidate will have prior compliance experience dealing with trading and derivative products in fintech/digital assets and/or financial services industries. You will work closely with our Trading, Product, Risk, Operations, Legal and the rest of the Compliance team to further mature our trade compliance program, controls, and processes to monitor all trading practices and drive market integrity, fairness and transparency. This will include developing a robust compliance framework for our expansion into derivative licenses and relevant obligations.

You must also have strong prioritization skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. Most importantly, you will drive results and significantly grow and improve the compliance, governance, and controls framework of our trading capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Enhance and support the global trade compliance program, controls and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices of trading activities, including policies, procedures, guidelines, trading manuals, etc.
- Monitor and analyze global regulatory updates in all jurisdictions OKX operates and enhance/adapt compliance programs accordingly. This may include trading product design evaluations for regulatory obligations related to derivatives products (i.e. MIFID, VARA, ASIC).
- Support all aspects of trading, listing, and liquidity management to ensure compliance and alignment with best practices.
- Engage directly and collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Trading, Liquidity Management, Product, Risk, Operations, and Legal and Compliance team members to identify and report on market integrity risks, implement sound controls, and advise on trading activities in line with regulatory obligations or best practices.
What We Look For In You
- BA/BS in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- At least 8+ years of experience in trading advisory compliance, liquidity management, regulatory controls, trading product design or closely related fields
- Proficiency with trading and investment products, e.g. spot, margin, options, perpetual swaps, OTC products, etc.
- Strong regulatory knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements for market transparency and integrity, including derivatives licensing obligations
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, initiative, and integrity.
- Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of digital assets trading market structure a plus.
- Basic understanding of liquidity management (in digital assets or traditional financial markets) a plus
