Must Have
- 3-5 years of professional UI design experience in games
- Experience shipping design interfaces for games

- Ability to adapt UI for multiple platforms, addressing input methods, performance budgets, and accessibility needs
- Design and iterate on UI elements, ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment with game mechanics
- Collaborate with Lead UX/UI Designer, developers, and artists to implement interfaces
- Conduct playtests and use feedback to refine designs
- Document designs (wireframes, flows, specs)
- Support live ops updates and new features

We also develop action-packed titles like Final Fury, an arcade fighting game reimagined for VR.
The Role
We’re hiring a UI Designer to support the teams on Synth Riders and Final Fury. You’ll collaborate with designers, developers, and artists to create intuitive, engaging user interfaces that enhance gameplay and user experience across multiple platforms.
This role reports to our Lead UX/UI Designer and focuses on implementing consistent, high-quality UI elements while adapting to project needs. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to both live ops updates and new features.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional UI design experience in games.
- Experience shipping design interfaces for games, with a portfolio demonstrating intuitive UI flows and visual consistency.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, and familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity) for implementation.
- Strong understanding of UI principles for multi-platform experiences, including VR/AR constraints and mobile/console adaptations.
- Excellent communication skills; thrives in cross-disciplinary, remote collaboration.
Desired Requirements
- Experience with VR/AR or rhythm/action games (e.g., UI for dynamic interfaces or progression systems).
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and performance optimization for UI (e.g., low-latency inputs, comfort in VR).

- Collaborate with the Lead UX/UI Designer, developers, and artists to implement interfaces that support retention, progression, and onboarding.
- Adapt UI for multiple platforms, addressing input methods, performance budgets, and accessibility needs.
- Conduct playtests and use feedback to refine designs, focusing on "feel" and engagement.
- Document designs (e.g., wireframes, flows, specs) to facilitate team handoff and iteration.
- Support live ops updates and new features, contributing to a smooth user experience.
