Do you enjoy shaping user experiences on mobile, and creating clear, intuitive interfaces that make complex strategy games easy to navigate?
As a UI Designer at Snowprint you’ll focus on the award winning game Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus. You’ll be trusted with ownership and have influence in the product. You will see the direct impact of your work in a live game with a dedicated audience and a tight release cadence. Here, you will work in an environment where people support each other, where self-leadership is valued, and where curiosity and thoughtful solutions are encouraged
You’ll be part of a team that cares deeply about usability, clarity, and player experience, and where your work will be meaningful from day one. You’ll work in a collaborative, kind and experienced team where your ideas move quickly from concept to players’ hands.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll design and implement UI for new features and live events in Tacticus, from early mockups and wireframes to implementing UI elements in Unity and preparing content for release. Together with the team, you’ll refine and improve existing UI where needed to create clarity for players and increase consistency in the product.
Your daily work will include design in tools such as Figma, Google Slides and Photoshop, building design decks for new features, integrating work in Unity, testing content in-game and iterating based on feedback both from colleagues and from players, once features are live.
With Tacticus being a live game with a tight release cadence, you’ll see the result of your work quickly and learn from real player behaviour.
Is this you?
You are an experienced UI Designer with experience from the mobile game industry, which means you are comfortable designing for small screens and touch interaction.
You have professional experience working with at least one of the following aspects of games:
- Free to play
- Midcore
- Turn based strategy
- Live operations
- External IP
You have experience implementing UI in Unity and enjoy collaborating closely with different disciplines to bring features from concept through to release.
You speak and write English fluently.
Where you’ll work
