Unity Game Developer

Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Unity Game Developer specializing in the development of 2D and 3D casual games. Apply only if you have made games in Unity in the past and include links to your games. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining game features, mechanics, and systems within Unity.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Game Development:
- Understand the concept and implementation as explained by the client, and plan the game structure. 
- Structure the task backlog with observance of time frames and completion schedules.
- Work with Server side development teams to ensure requisite capacity and processes are in place. 
- Design, develop, and implement interactive and engaging gameplay features for casual games.
- Collaborate with the game design team to translate concepts and ideas into playable game experiences.
- Ensure high-quality code architecture and maintainability while meeting project deadlines.

2. Unity Development:
- Utilize Unity to create, optimize, and enhance game functionality.
- Implement and optimize 2D and 3D graphics, animations, and visual effects.
- Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs for various functionalities, such as analytics and social features.

3. Multiplayer Functionality:
- Develop and implement multiplayer features, ensuring smooth and seamless online gaming experiences.
- Address and resolve networking issues to ensure robust multiplayer functionality.

4. Mobile Platform Optimization:
- Optimize games for various mobile platforms, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.
- QA is your responsibility, and if additional QA is required the same needs to be arranged on a case-to-case basis.
- The finished product must be fully polished and satisfy the client's needs without a hitch.

5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with artists, designers, and other developers to create a cohesive and immersive gaming experience.
- Provide input on game design elements and contribute to the overall creative direction of the project.

Requirements:
- (OPTIONAL) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
- (OPTIONAL) Proven experience as a Unity Game Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant game projects. We are open to freshers. 
- You will need to take a test before you join the team. The output of this will decide your acceptance. 
- Proficiency in C# programming language. It's OK if you don't know English, as long as you know computer languages. 
- Solid understanding of game development principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience with multiplayer game development and integration.
- Familiarity with mobile platform optimization and performance profiling.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with popular card games will be good.
- Experience with MMO type games will be good.
- Experience with making (even simple prototypes) of all kinds of games will be good.
- Knowledge of Unity UI/UX design principles.
- Familiarity with game monetization strategies and ad integration.

Schedule:
9AM to 6PM+, Monday to Friday. Day end time is not guaranteed as it's dependent on deadlines. 
Occasional overtime required only if demanded by the client.

Supplemental pay types:
Performance bonus

Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred, but optional)

Experience:
Work ex: 1 year+ would be good.
Your skills must be superb.

Ability to Commute:
Must show up for work DAILY 9 AM SHARP at our office in PANVEL. And no whining about 'getting late' at 6pm.
(we have bought an office in Nerul opposite DY Patil Stadium, in future reporting may shift there)
