It is important that end users experience freedom of choice in the designs of our applications in addition to ease of use.
You are responsible for the usability of the software produced by the team you work with as an expert.
You are responsible for making the correct translation from a wish and need into a validated design.
Setting up and implementing different types of user research
Developing interactive prototypes
Taking the team to the next level as experts in putting the end user first
Further development of the Design System
Develop guidelines for data visualization together with the team
Requirements
At least a completed and recognized professional education at HBO level (e.g. HBO Industrial Design, Human Technology or WO Industrial Design, Design for Interaction, these are just examples.)
Certification by Human Factors and/or Nielsen Norman Group
At least 6 years of demonstrable work experience in the field of User Experience
At least 4 years of demonstrable work experience in an Agile development environment
Demonstrable work experience with and knowledge of Design Thinking
Demonstrable work experience in developing prototypes
Demonstrable work experience with prototype tools such as Axure, Adobe XD, Sketch or Figma
At least 1 year of demonstrable work experience at a government institution (> 1000 employees)
Demonstrable work experience in the field of Accessibility and web guidelines
Demonstrable work experience in applying Analytics for UX purposes
Demonstrable work experience with Design Systems and data-driven applications
At least 1 year of experience with gamification and game design in developing educational learning materials.
