As we continue to experience rapid growth the demands on the Business Development team is growing too. This growth has created an opportunity for a Vice President, Business Development to join the team and support a variety of new business opportunities. The ideal candidate must have previous experience working at an agency or consulting firm, even if they've not led a formal business dev team before. They should understand that there are people who pitch the business the firm works on and believe that being one of those people could be the next chapter in their career.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Under the direction of SVP, Business Development:
- Generate new leads for direct client engagements.
- Collaborate with MarCom on new and exciting email campaigns newsletters.
- Own all aspects of full cycle direct client lead pipeline.
- Lead research, market analysis, industry networking and other prospecting activities to identify leads and opportunities across verticals.
- Maintain an effective sales pipeline and tracking of leads, opportunities and deals to help drive success both individually and with the team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance the company's sales approach and offerings.
- Experience of working across client opportunities and verticals in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
WHAT YOU'VE GOT
- 10-12 years of strategic sales lead generation with a focus on digital transformation.
- 3-4 years of sales specific written communication experience (emails, newsletters, etc.).
- Relevant small to mid-sized agency experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills; you will be writing something every day in this job, ranging from headlines to sales emails to long-form proposal responses.
- HubSpot, Salesforce and other applicable CRM platforms is desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Apple Keynote, required. Strong PPT skills preferred.
