Job Summary
The PICO video content team is seeking a visionary Virtual Reality Producer to lead the creation of groundbreaking non-game VR experiences. This role involves overseeing projects from concept to launch, managing budgets, timelines, and resources, and ensuring high-quality delivery. The producer will lead co-productions with external partners, serve as the primary client contact, and navigate the entire project lifecycle, including legal and financial aspects. Collaboration with creative teams to develop innovative VR concepts and staying current with industry trends are also key responsibilities.
Must Have
- Oversee end-to-end production of non-game VR projects.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Lead co-production/investment projects with external studios and partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners.
- Navigate the entire project lifecycle, including greenlight processes, contract negotiations, payment milestones, and risk management.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Compliance, Marketing).
- Collaborate with creative teams on innovative VR concepts, narratives, and interactive designs.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging VR technologies, and competitive content.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Game Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Producer or Project Manager in VR, multimedia, or entertainment.
- Experience managing third-party production teams and external partnerships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and inspire collaboration.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to navigate production challenges.

- Understanding of VR development tools (Unity, Unreal Engine) and 3D production pipelines.

Our offerings span diverse formats including scripted fiction, documentaries, stage performances, sports/esports, and live streams. We relentlessly pursue innovation in content formats, product experiences, and technological implementations, to build a robust and unique PICO video content ecosystem. We are looking for a visionary and driven Virtual Reality Producer to lead the creation of groundbreaking non-game VR experiences. You will be the central hub for our projects, guiding them from initial concept through to launch. This role demands a unique blend of creative passion, technical understanding, and expert project management to deliver immersive content that captivates audiences.
Project & Production Leadership:
- Oversee the end-to-end production of non-game VR projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Producer or Project Manager within the VR, multimedia, or entertainment industry.
