Job Description: VisionPLUS BA
- Seeking a skilled Visionplus Business Analyst to gather and document business requirements, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Visionplus modules and system integration.
Overall responsibilities :
- Areas of work: BA Services
- Perform Parameter setup data mapping to new platform.
- Perform Functional gap analysis and data mapping.
- Assist in analyzing the portfolio migration requirements (internal and client initiated), breaking down to the required level of details to drive a traceability matrix and functional solution documents.
- Facilitate in tracking the portfolio migration requirements throughout the software.
- Development lifecycle, ensuring that the solution, development, and testing deliver the correct coverage and scope.
- Assist in documenting portfolio migration requirements clearly and concisely in the standard format.
- Assist in providing work estimates when applicable.
- Understand any changes to requirements or scope and impact these may have on potential solutions and project timelines.
- Assists the Project Manager in enforcing the project deadlines and schedules i.e. when the requirements are to be frozen, signed off.
- Understand the effort estimates related to new functionality and its impact on the project’s estimated effort. Escalate to the client project manager on a timely manner on its impact on project schedules.
- Guide in the development of test plans and test scripts.
Technical Skills:
- Hands on experience on one or more of the sub-systems in Vision PLUS (CMS Posting, FAS, TRAMS, VMx) needed to solve the issues in the application.
- Skills in Mainframe - JCL, COBOL, VSAM and CICS
- Experience in one of the Methodologies - Waterfall, Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban
- Vision Flex experience is preferrable.
