Job Description
WebFX seeks a Web Designer to contribute to 60+ projects annually. Responsibilities include creating website prototypes (homepages, inner pages), building responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and PHP, enhancing existing sites (WordPress), designing ads, social media branding, and infographics. The role demands proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, and PHP, along with experience in WordPress and responsive design. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong communication skills.
Must have:

What We're Looking For
- Desired Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in art, design, web design, or related degree)
- General Knowledge
- Knowledge of web design conventions
- Knowledge of user experience, web standards, optimization, and best practices
- HTML5 and CSS3 skills are essential
- Basic PHP/MySQL knowledge
- Knowledge of open source CMS such as WordPress
- Knowledge of responsive design best practices
- Experience
- Strong English (written and verbal). Resume must be in English to be considered.
- Minimum 1 year (2 years or more desired) experience as a web designer
- Impressive portfolio with a proven track record in designing for the web
- Outstanding skills in Photoshop
- Ability to quickly build modern CSS layouts

What You'll Do
- Responsibilities
- Work on 60+ projects a year
- Create prototypes for home pages, inner pages, and more
- Design and build responsive websites
- Theme WordPress CMS builds (programmers code and build custom functionality)
- Design infographics
- Design landing pages
- Design display ads
- Design social branding and contests
- UX projects
- Develop A/B tests
- Percentage Breakdown
- 35% designing homepage and inner page prototypes for various clients using the Adobe Creative Suite
- 25% helping to build/launch websites for various clients using HTML, CSS and PHP
- 25% working on site enhancements for clients in various CMSs including WordPress
- 15% creating online advertisements, social media branding and identity, and content marketing pieces such as infographics

Asia (Philippines / Indonesia)
This position requires overlapping hours from 3:30 AM EST - 12:00 PM EST (New York Time Zone) Monday - Friday.
Africa / Europe (Ghana, UK, Ireland, Kenya, etc)
This position requires overlapping hours from 6:00 AM EST - 2:30 PM EST, Monday - Friday. The 40 hours of work doesn’t include any lunch or breaks.
*** This excludes South Africa, where our in-office team follows a different schedule.
North America & South America
This position requires overlapping hours from 8:00 AM EST - 4:30 PM EST, Monday - Friday. The 40 hours of work doesn’t include any lunch or breaks.
