Job Description

Sinch, a global leader in CPaaS and mobile customer engagement, is seeking a Workplace Experience Manager for its India offices. This role involves creating and maintaining world-class, safe, sustainable, and flexible workplaces, ensuring a consistent employee experience. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day workplace operations, overseeing vendors, engaging with stakeholders, ensuring compliance, and supporting office expansion projects. The manager will contribute to an engaging and productive environment aligned with Sinch's values.

  • Partner with HR, Procurement, and Supplier teams for engagement, wellness, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Act as a single point of contact for employee feedback, escalations, and suggestions.
  • Oversee service providers for housekeeping, security, cafeteria, and maintenance.
  • Monitor and report vendor performance through SLAs, KPIs, and periodic reviews.
  • Support workplace budgets management, track spend vs. forecast, and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with Sinch Business Leaders to meet business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with RE FM stakeholders like property managers and suppliers.
  • Ensure workplace compliance with statutory, environmental, health, and safety norms.
  • Maintain business continuity readiness for facilities and support infrastructure.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and governance requirements.
  • Support end-to-end delivery of office expansion, renovation, and transition projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors for design alignment.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules, budgets, and status reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and sustainability requirements.
  • Perform various administrative tasks like raising PRs, processing invoices, and maintaining MIS.
  • Implement industry best practices to improve workplace service standards.
  • Lead projects for office floor uplifts or changes.

You will collaborate with key stakeholders and partners to create, develop and maintain Infrastructure, Systems, Controls and Governance mechanisms contributing to an engaging and productive workplace environment that aligns with Sinch's values and culture.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Workplace Experience
  • Ensure a seamless and positive day-to-day employee workplace experience across facilities.
  • Partner with HR, Procurement and Supplier teams to deliver engagement, wellness, and culture-building initiatives in the workplace.
  • Act as a single point of contact for employees for feedback, escalations, and suggestions related to workplace services.
  • Monitor space utilization and recommend improvements for collaboration zones, meeting rooms, and amenities.
  • Operations & Vendor Management
  • Oversee service providers for housekeeping, security, cafeteria, maintenance etc. to maintain service quality.
  • Monitor and report vendor performance management through SLAs, KPIs, and periodic reviews.
  • Support workplace budgets management, track spend vs. forecast and identify cost-optimization opportunities.
  • Stakeholder management:
  • Curate, Cultivate and maintain relationships with all Upstream stakeholders (i.e. Sinch Business Leaders in the region) rendering FM support to meet business objectives. Assist, consult, advise and guide Sinch colleagues on Facility services.
  • Establish, build and maintain downstream relationships with RE FM stakeholders like property managers, office suppliers, sub-contractors etc. to enable deliveries and project works are scheduled and completed.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure workplace compliance with statutory, environmental, health, and safety norms.
  • Maintain business continuity readiness for facilities and support infrastructure.
  • Support audits, risk assessments, and governance requirements.
  • Projects & Fit-outs (As and when applicable):
  • Support end-to-end delivery of office expansion, renovation, and transition projects within defined budgets and timelines.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design alignment with global workplace standards.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules, budgets, and status reports for leadership review.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and sustainability requirements.
  • Various administrative tasks, e.g. raise PRs, program manage changes, process invoices, maintain MIS of services etc.
  • Implement industry best practices to improve standards of workplace services.
  • Project lead for any required uplift or changes to the office floor e.g., working closely with external project managers.

Requirements

  • B Arch/ BE (Civil/Interior Design) degree from recognized college.
  • 4–7 years’ experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, or workplace projects.
  • Experience in office fit-outs, vendor management, and workplace engagement programs.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in MS office, Teams, AutoCAD (preferred), and project management tools.
  • Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry is a plus.
