Job Description

The Workspace Cloud Architect will work with Google enterprise clients to implement and adopt Google Workspace solutions. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance on deployment, configuration, and management of Google Workspace and related products. This role involves working with customer technical leads, architects, and partners to plan and deliver successful implementations of Workspace projects. Collaboration with geographically dispersed internal teams is also required to design and deliver technical solutions. The architect will participate in customer-facing deployment and migration projects, encompassing service discovery, assessment, planning, and execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Google Workspace solutions, project management, cloud architecture, and networking infrastructure.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent
5+ years Google Workspace experience
4+ years project management & solution delivery
Experience with cloud solutions in virtualized environments
Experience with SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS platforms
Design, develop, and maintain Google Workspace solutions
Work with customer technical leads to deliver implementations

Good to have:

MBA or Master's degree
Experience with customer migration projects
Cloud security experience (IAM, SSO, OAuth)
Experience with on-premise and cloud-based Gmail, Google Drive, etc.
Programming skills (Java, Python, AppScript, Shell)

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in Google Workspace solutions.
4 years of experience in project management and technical solution delivery.
Experience in networking, compute infrastructure (e.g., servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers) and architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments.
Experience in working with and promoting SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Experience with migration in customer-facing roles, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations.
Experience with cloud security, including identity and access management (IAM), SSO, OAuth and 2-step verification.
Experience with on-premise and cloud-based Gmail, Google Drive, Google Chat, and AppSheet.
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, AppScript, and Shell.
Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
