Plummy Games is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its dynamic team in Estonia. As Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support to various departments, overseeing legal agreements, handling corporate legal affairs, managing external legal consultants, safeguarding company confidentiality, ensuring data protection compliance, drafting end-user documents, and managing user complaints and data requests. You will also be responsible for IP transactions, acquisitions, and licensing, ensuring appropriate IP acquisition and legal clearance for the company's products, and managing IP protection and conflicts on digital platforms.

If you're passionate about gaming, law and being at the forefront of a booming industry, we want to hear from you!</p><p><strong>Responsibilities/Key Duties:</strong></p><ul>
<li>Maintain strong communication and provide legal support to the executive team, administrative staff, and various company departments.</li>
<li>Oversee and handle legal agreements within the company (contracts with R&amp;D partners, business partners, gaming companies, office maintenance contracts, etc.).</li>
<li>Human resource topics, Job related legalities.</li>
<li>Handle corporate legal affairs.</li>
<li>Supporting relationships with local institutions (Banks, legal and finance firms, etc.).</li>
<li>Participation and assist with annual financial audits.</li>
<li>Manage and monitor the performance of external legal consultants.</li>
<li>Safeguard company confidentiality (confidentiality agreements with collaborators, freelancers, and staff).</li>
<li>Evaluating and aligning Terms and Conditions with marketing platforms (user acquisition/monetization), licensors, analytics services, and various online service providers.</li>
<li>Coordinate global Trademark registrations.</li>
<li>IP transactions, acquisitions, and licensing.</li>
<li>Ensure appropriate IP acquisition from external entities and verify legal clearance for company’s products.</li>
<li>Supervise the organization's intellectual property assets, collaborating with the finance department on related resources.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to data protection regulations for both the company and its products (GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, LGPD, etc.).</li>
<li>Confirm compliance with guidelines set by App Store and Google Play.</li>
<li>Manage IP protection and resolve conflicts on App Store, Google Play, and other digital platforms.</li>
<li>Drafting and updating end user documents (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, etc.).</li>
<li>Handling of user complaints and data requests.</li>
<li>Risk management.</li>
</ul><p><strong>Experience/Key Skills:</strong></p><ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies.</li>
<li>Preferably 3+ years of experience in Law within the Gaming, IT, or related sectors.</li>
<li>Superior interpersonal and communication skills.</li>
<li>Capacity to work autonomously and coordinate with various departments and branches.</li>
<li>Skilled at managing and prioritizing complex workloads.</li>
<li>Fluent in English.</li>
<li>Russian language is a plus.</li>
<li>Comprehensive understanding of IP Law.</li>
<li>Strategic planning and multitasking.</li>
<li>Risk management skills.</li>
