This entry-level Assembly Operator role involves assembling, testing, and packaging various utility, sump, sewage, and effluent pumps. Must have:
  • Entry-level assembly of components based on blueprints, schematics, or written instructions.
  • Perform other assembly operations including oil fill, electrical connections and decal application.
  • Administer high pot and unit performance tests according to predetermined standards.
  • Perform final packaging operations.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and correct non-conformances.
  • Add additional technical skills for job.

We have an opportunity for an entry-level Assembly Operator. You will perform required operations to assemble, test and package all sizes and types of utility, sump, sewage and effluent pumps.

Responsibilities

  • Entry-level assembly of components based on blueprints, schematics, or written instructions
  • Perform other assembly operations including oil fill, electrical connections and decal application to produce a variety of utility type pumps.
  • Administer high pot and unit performance tests according to predetermined standards.
  • Perform final packaging operations.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and correct non-conformances.
  • Add additional technical skills for job

Key Requirements

  • 0 - 3 years of recent manufacturing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Employees are expected to maintain a high standard of attendance and timeliness.
  • Must possess good communication skills, work cross-functionally in a team environment, and have a problem-solving mindset.
  • Physical requirements: Standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs
  • Steel-toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!)

  • 1st Shift 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Mandatory OT required (after shift or on weekend)

Compensation

  • The hourly pay for this role is: $18.50
  • $500 sign-on bonus effective 8/1/25 ($250 payable after 45 days & $250 payable after 90 days)
