RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a 3D-Artist.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• As a 3D Artist, you will collaborate closely with Game Designers and our technical lead to create immersive and visually stunning gaming experiences
• Responsible for translating concepts and references into high-quality 3D graphics and ensuring seamless integration into the game environment
• 3D Artist will create visually captivating 3D environments, props, objects, and scenes using industry-standard software such as Maya/Houdini, with a strong emphasis on UV mapping and texture creation
• Generate concept art that effectively communicates visual elements during preproduction stages
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience with experience with realistic texture creation, light baking, and delivery of high-quality 3D art
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience with Maya/Houdini
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience with Substance Painter and expertise in using Physically Based Rendering (PBR) principles
• Experience with realistic texture creation, light baking, and delivery of high-quality 3D art
• Must have commercial project experience demonstrated in a reel or portfolio, with previous game production experience preferred
• Knowledge of Substance Painter and expertise in using Physically Based Rendering (PBR) principles
• Possess a basic understanding of Unity 3D and its workflow, with knowledge of rigging considered a plus
• Proficient skills in Maya, Houdini, Blender, Substance Painter, Zbrush/Mudbox
• Ability to create compelling concept art and translate it into 3D assets
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
