**Account Manager – Games
Are you passionate about the gaming industry and skilled at building lasting client relationships? We are seeking an Account Manager to drive revenue growth, manage key gaming accounts, and expand our services within the industry. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to our clients, ensuring their success while maximizing business opportunities.
What You Will Do
Account Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals.
- Gain a deep understanding of client business goals, competitive landscape, growth plans, and challenges.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients through upselling and cross-selling new studios, buyers, and service lines.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage contract renewals, negotiate pricing, and resolve complex client challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Business Development & Expansion:
- Conduct executive-level business reviews and capability refreshes with key stakeholders to uncover new opportunities.
- Collaborate with the global sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory.
- Reinforce our reputation as a Global Games Leader by demonstrating expertise in Lionbridge Games’ services and solutions.
- Industry Engagement & Travel:
- Represent Lionbridge Games at industry events and maintain a strong presence in the gaming community.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings, conferences, and networking events.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Experience: Proven experience in account management, business development, or sales within the Games/Entertainment industry.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement account strategies that drive growth and expand market share.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong background in upselling, cross-selling, contract renewals, and pricing negotiations.
- Client-Centric Approach: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of gaming industry trends, market dynamics, and service offerings such as localization, audio, testing, and player experience.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and product teams.
- Results-Driven: A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving revenue and margin targets.
