Project description
We're looking for a talented and passionate Developer to join our Mortgage Pricing team. The successful candidate will help drive transformation projects of our environment across Development / UAT and Production. Our plan is to build a small team of 2 Angular and 2 Java developers in Canada that will collaborate with US-based team
Responsibilities
Lead the team of 1 Angular and 2 Java developers
Develop and enhance functionality in the Risk and Pricing front end.
Apply subject matter expertise in Angular/HTML5/UI principles to design and implement solutions according to requirements and specifications given by business analysts.
Work within existing architecture, coding standards and tool sets in order to deliver software that is supportable across the global team.
Follow the team's agile processes and take responsibility for delivery of tasks on schedule.
Skills
Must have
8+ years of experience in UI development for large scale projects for financial services.
3+ years of experience in developing solutions using the Angular framework.
Able to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline.
Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, Elastic Search or similar cache.
Very familiar with GIT and CI/CD tools.
Familiar with event driven architectures and the use of micro-services.
Has worked in an Agile development process.
Proven track record of building real time user interfaces in a Financial Services context.
