Capgemini is seeking a Node.js AWS Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs. The role involves extensive use of AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, RDS, Step Functions, EventBridge, and SQS. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and a strong understanding of serverless architecture, cloud-native design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities include optimizing applications, implementing error handling, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Must Have:- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications.
- Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, EC2, RDS.
- Create and manage serverless workflows using Step Functions.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring using tools like Splunk.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews.
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS.
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Solid understanding of serverless architecture and cloud-native design patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
