About the Job

Catface is seeking an Assistant Line Producer to work with our current Line Producers in ensuring quality and communication throughout our creative process. The Assistant Line Producer will be responsible for aiding the processes and quality of the videos produced, sitting with videos from start to finish and keeping track of critical notes and assets.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assisting Line Producers in the preparation and production of daily videos

• Communicating with multiple teams to answer questions and set realistic expectations and deadlines
• Assist with quality assurance of the product before, during, and after filming

• Communicating with Line Producers any issues that arise and proposing solutions
• Becoming a subject matter expert on the tools and processes that the company uses for production
• Compile video performance data to improve processes and enhance future videos
• Serve as the connecting tissue between departments for full video continuity and strategy
• Ensure video notes and wants are followed from start of the project to end
• Review each step of the process with Line Producers and work with teams to find efficient fixes or stay on important tasks to make filming easier and faster
• Assist in recording when needed to ensure the process goes smoothly
• Review the edits of videos to ensure mistakes are removed and some spice is added when appropriate
• Assist the Line Producer in attending "concept meetings" with the writing and production team members to facilitate the video content ideation process. Ensure that the concepts developed are feasible for the production team to execute and align with brand standards.
• Receive and implement feedback on content from higher-ups in a professional and constructive manner. Ensure prompt integration of feedback to maintain production flow.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to sudden schedule changes seamlessly.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours, including availability for potential weekend work.
• Filling in for Line Producers when needed 

What We're Looking For

• Must be based in the Austin TX area or willing to relocate 

• Extensive knowledge of the Minecraft platform and willing to learn other platforms etc.

• At least 1-2 years' experience working in video production

• Experience leading teams

• Passion for YouTube Content, desire to understand how it works, and the ability to absorb and learn to improve videos

• Ability to work both independently and with small teams

• Ability to work in a fast-paced entertainment environment and shift gears at a moment's notice.

• Great and timely communication skills.
• Requires flexibility with scheduling, which include working 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of weekend availability needed. Candidates must be willing to work on weekends as needed to ensure timely completion of projects and to meet business needs
