Associate Solutions Engineer - APJ
Job Description
- Have hands-on experience with AI/LLMs or modern security tools.
- Contribute to open-source or developer communities.
- Love solving complex problems with a collaborative team.
- Have a sense of humour.
- Work closely with our sales team to help them understand Snyk's products during the sales process.
- Understand the basics of a customer's environment and Snyk's products.
- Interface with our internal teams, such as engineering, product, and customer success, to understand and help address customer issues.
- Learn about the maturity matrix at a conceptual level and how it contributes to the overall business strategy.
- Gain hands-on experience by performing well-defined engineering tasks like coding, testing, and fixing bugs.
- Strong understanding of basic workflows and best practices in the developer and DevOps ecosystems.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a bias for action.
- Ability to understand a customer's environment.
- Good written and spoken communication skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and seek feedback.

As an Associate Solutions Engineer, you will work under the supervision of a more experienced engineer or manager to learn the fundamentals of the role and our products. You’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team and help drive our mission to embed security into every part of the AI-native development lifecycle. This is a launching point for you to understand how to build excellent software and support our customers.
