The Role:
As a TA Specialist, you will be a strategic contributor to Silicon Labs’ recruitment engine by owning and managing four key pillars: candidate sourcing, TA operations, and university recruiting coordination. This is a highly collaborative role requiring cross-functional partnership with recruiters, hiring managers, and external institutions.
What you will do:
1. Candidate Sourcing
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies for key roles across technical and non-technical functions.
- Proactively identify and engage passive talent using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, social media, niche boards, and referrals.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of diverse candidates for future hiring needs.
2. Talent Acquisition Operations
- Own and optimize TA systems and processes including applicant tracking system (ATS) management, scheduling coordination, and compliance tracking.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports for pipeline metrics, time-to-fill, diversity data, and funnel health.
- Collaborate with People Ops and IT to ensure smooth integration of TA systems with broader HR platforms.
3. University Recruiting Coordination
- Manage relationships with key university partners, career centers, and student organizations.
- Coordinate all aspects of campus engagement including event logistics, career fairs, tech talks, and intern interview days.
- Work with engineering and business stakeholders to align academic outreach with workforce planning.
Qualifications:
Required
- 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably with exposure to both corporate and university recruiting.
- Proven success in sourcing top talent using modern sourcing tools and techniques.
- High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday) and MS Office
Preferred
- Experience with early talent programs or university recruiting cycles.
- Background in data analytics or experience with TA dashboards.
- Passion for candidate experience, and operational excellence.
