Job Description

The Automation Technician Pl will be responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance activities on site equipment, especially those in production areas. This involves interpreting and editing PID, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams as a basis for analysis. Key tasks include repairing and assembling electrical panels and equipment, proposing changes to energy distribution systems, interpreting electrical drawings, and maintaining building electrical installations.
Must have:
  • High school completed, with a technical course in automation, electrical, mechanical, electrotechnical, or electronic fields.
  • Previous experience in the role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Good to have:
  • Experience in consumer goods, pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industries.

The Automation Technician Pl will be responsible for carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance activities on site equipment, mainly those in production areas. For this, they will interpret and edit PID, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams, using these as their basis for analysis.

What you will do:

  • Perform repairs, assemblies and renovations on electrical panels and equipment in general (low voltage) production equipment, installations and utilities, maintaining their operationality;
  • Propose, through drawings and electrical diagrams, changes in energy distribution systems and panels, defining the materials to be used;
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams, for guidance in carrying out maintenance and equipment installation activities;
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building electrical installations, such as: lighting systems and low voltage distribution;
  • Install and assist in the installation of new equipment, aiming at perfect adaptation to systems and processes.

What you need to have:

  • High school completed, with a technical course in automation, electrical, mechanical, electrotechnical or electronic fields;
  • Previous experience in the role, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
  • Desirable experience in the consumer goods, pharmaceutical, chemical or food industry.
