Canadian Helicopters is seeking a B212 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) for equal rotations in Iqaluit. The AME will report to the Eastern Chief Engineer and be responsible for planning and executing aircraft maintenance, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and organizing the hangar and support equipment. The role requires a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license, the legal right to work in Canada, and eligibility for Aircraft Certification Authority on Bell 212/412. The position also requires obtaining Access to Controlled Goods clearance. The candidate should be organized, a self-starter, customer-focused, a team player, and possess good communication skills and a positive attitude.

  • Legal right to work in Canada

  • Ability to obtain Controlled Goods clearance

Job Description

Canadian Helicopters is looking for a B212 AME to work on equal rotations in Iqaluit.

Reporting to Eastern Chief Engineer, the B212 AME will be required to:

  • Plan and perform aircraft maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Organize and maintain the hangar and support equipment.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license.
  • Must have the legal right to work in Canada. (This position is not available for sponsorship).
  • Must be eligible to obtain Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on Bell 212/412.
  • Must be able to obtain Access to Controlled Goods clearance under the company’s approval.
  • Must be organized and a self-starter.
  • Must be customer focused and be a team player.
  • Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Status: permanent

Location: Iqaluit (NWS)

Schedule: rotations: 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off
