TransUnion is seeking an experienced B2B Social Media Consultant to join its global marketing team, primarily supporting the UK market. This remote role involves defining and executing performance-driven social media strategies, managing organic and paid campaigns, and fostering brand awareness and lead generation. The consultant will be responsible for content calendar management, social media publishing via Sprinklr, monitoring engagement, and providing training to colleagues. Key duties include ensuring content quality, adhering to brand guidelines, and creating detailed performance reports to drive impactful social media presence.
Must have:
  • Drive high-value clicks, engagements, and leads through social media.
  • Create and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
  • Publish and schedule social media posts using Sprinklr.
  • Set up and manage paid social media campaigns.
  • Monitor inbound social media for product, solution, or thought leadership interest.
  • Manage social media tasks in project management tools, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Grow organic audiences across channels using hashtags, sponsorship, and advocacy.
  • Provide social media guidance and training to colleagues.
  • Maintain high quality across all social media channels (copy, design, link tagging).
  • Adopt and work with new platforms and approaches.
  • Ensure social content aligns with style guides and brand messaging.
  • Strictly follow and manage social media processes and policies.
  • Create social media measurement dashboards and reports, including ROI metrics.
  • Partner with head of social media to define performance-driven strategies.
  • Develop and execute tailored social media campaigns for the UK market.
  • Help TransUnion achieve an impactful social media presence.
  • Ensure social media activity follows best practices to achieve marketing and sales goals.
  • Create brand awareness and generate leads while protecting the brand.
  • Execute day-to-day social campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Support UK stakeholders with social media training and advocacy program management.
  • Support global social media strategy execution.
  • At least 4 to 5 years’ experience in social media or content marketing.
  • Good understanding of wider digital marketing principles.
  • Must have degree.
  • Reside in a home with fibre internet (minimum 100 Meg) and a comfortable, confidential workspace.

TransUnion is looking for an experienced social media manager to join its global marketing team. The role will primarily focus on supporting the UK marketing team across organic, paid and advocacy programs. The ideal candidate, a digital native, will have exceptional writing skills, superior attention-to-detail and a clear understanding of B2B social media best practices, across social networks.

  • At least 4 to 5 years’ experience working within a social media or content marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • A good understanding of wider digital marketing principles.
  • A strong interest in using technology and software to increase efficiency.

Impact You'll Make:

  • Use social media to drive high-value clicks, engagements and leads.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar with a good, consistent cadence of posts.
  • Publish/schedule social media posts through Sprinklr, our social media management tool.
  • Set up and manage campaign-based and always-on paid campaigns across social media channels.
  • Monitor inbound social, specifically as it relates to comments linking to interest in products, solutions or thought leadership material.
  • Manage social media tasks in project management tool, and ensure timelines are accurate and due dates are adhered to by all stakeholders, ensuring on time delivery of campaigns.
  • Work to grow our audiences organically, across channels, by producing enticing content and getting it in front of our target audience through the smart usage of hashtags, sponsorship and advocacy.
  • Provide guidance and social media training to colleagues across the business (including, but not limited to sellers).
  • Maintain a high standard of quality across all social media channels, including copy, design, link tagging, etc. — and ensure copy goes through the necessary reviews to ensure it is error-free.
  • Adopt and work with new platforms and approaches as required.
  • Ensure social content aligns to our style guides and always ties back to our brand messaging.
  • Strictly follow and manage social media processes and policies.
  • Create social media measurement dashboards and reports that highlights performance metrics and key outcomes, including ROI metrics.

Main Purpose of Role

  • Partner with head of social media to define performance-driven social media strategies, consolidate learnings and provide recommendations from insights for dissemination across the organization.
  • Develop and execute tailored social media campaigns in the UK market supporting the B2B marketing team.
  • Help TransUnion have an impactful social media presence through organic, paid and advocacy, positioning us as a source of relevant company news, insights and updates.
  • Ensure our social media activity follows best practices, helping our B2B marketing and sales teams achieve their goals.
  • Create awareness of the TransUnion brand and solutions and generate leads while protecting, and furthering, the brand.
  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of social campaigns; ensuring maximum impact.
  • Support UK stakeholders on social media by providing training and managing the company’s employment advocacy program (curate content, write copy, onboard new users and maintain engagement).
  • You will support the head of social media in executing on the global social media strategy.

For positions based in South Africa, preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups in line with the company's Employment Equity plan and targets.

Please note it is a requirement of the Global Capability Centre Africa that you reside in a home that is fibre ready; and has space for you to be able to work comfortably and confidentially on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of your proposed employment. You can be based anywhere in South Africa that has fibre, but will not be able to work in a location outside of South Africa.

A Minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required, should you be successful, you will need to upgrade your line or install fibre in order to work effectively.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
