Wolters Kluwer is seeking a self-driven Business Development Analyst to support business operations, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. This crucial role involves assisting with data analysis, process mapping, and identifying improvement opportunities. The analyst will contribute to a more informed business environment, laying the foundation for growth in business analysis. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong communication, quantitative, and relationship management skills.
Must have:
  • Support in preparing basic operations analyses including competitors, operational effectiveness, and capacity utilization.
  • Assist in the development of basic process analyses and end-to-end process mappings.
  • Identify preliminary opportunities for process improvement.
  • Track and maintain current information on business operations.
  • Provide support on routine administrative financial activities.
  • Assist with preparing simple financial reports and basic budgets.
  • Support the development of annual and long-term business plans.
  • Assist in coordinating routine special projects.
  • Conduct preliminary data collection and analysis.
  • Prepare and present basic findings to senior team members.

You'll work under close supervision to assist with data analysis, process mapping, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Your efforts will contribute to creating a more informed and responsive business environment, laying the foundation for your growth in the field of business analysis.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with exceptional communication and quantitative skills, as well as internal and external relationship management building abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in preparing basic operations analyses including competitors, operational effectiveness, and capacity utilization.
  • Assist in the development of basic process analyses and end-to-end process mappings.
  • Identify preliminary opportunities for process improvement.
  • Track and maintain current information on business operations.
  • Provide support on routine administrative financial activities.
  • Assist with preparing simple financial reports and basic budgets.

Skills:

  • Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team setting.
  • Time Management: Capability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Microsoft Excel: Basic proficiency in Excel for data handling.
  • Problem Solving: Preliminary problem-solving skills.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Labor Relations or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Valuable Wolters Kluwer Tax& Accounting solutions.
  • Salesforce, SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • English both writing and speaking fluent.
