Business development / Sales Representative – Simplygon, Xbox Game Studios

 

Simplygon, now part of Team Xbox and Xbox Game Studios, is looking to hire a Business Developer.

 

Simplygon develops one of the renowned technologies that has been used in games for more than 15 years. So, you have likely encountered the Simplygon logo in the boot sequence of a favorite game. We welcome you in this opportunity to join Simplygon and the Xbox Community to contribute to the success of a small team while also influencing game development for decades to come.

 

We are a passionate product team specializing in 3D Game Content Optimization for the Computer Games industry. Our mission is to craft end-to-end solutions for customers by providing a best-in-class 3D optimization tool, the Simplygon SDK. Which has been used in the development of thousands of games and digital media on many platforms and devices.

 

What are we looking for from you? We believe you are self-driven and that you like to travel around the world to customers within the game development community. As you will meet with clients on a regular basis, we believe you thrive in social situations and enjoy building strong customer relationships.

 

As a sales representative / Business developer you will be part of our sales team together with our business developers, sales agents, and product evangelists. We all work together to help our customers pick up and successfully use Simplygon to achieve more. We are based in Linköping, Sweden, though also open for remote applicants.

Qualifications

 

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience in sales of digital products.
  • Proficient experience in B2B sales
  • Comfortable with customer connection.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.

 

Additional experience we’d love to see (though not required):

  • Experience from working in a CRM system.
  • Game development experience.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Together with the sales team grow our customer base worldwide or in a specific territory e.g., North America.
  • Act as an account manager for customers supporting them all the way from first meeting to signing an agreement.
  • Schedule and drive meetings with potential clients and work together with our product evangelists to demo Simplygon.
  • Negotiate deal terms with customers with the help of Microsoft's legal team.
  • Plan and execute sales trips.
  • Keeping the sales funnel on target with revenue goals.
