The Client Partner will be responsible for building relationships with key brands and top Independent Agency teams to help them achieve their business objectives using Reddit's advertising suite. This role involves managing relationships, driving revenue growth, collaborating with clients to deliver Reddit solutions, identifying new opportunities, creating business plans, and providing strategic advice. The ideal candidate will also need to communicate platform updates, provide thought leadership, and work cross-functionally to meet client and business goals. The person in this role is required to be based in the New York, NY area and should be available to work from the NYC office 1-2x per week.
Must have:
  • 4-7 years experience in digital media with 1-3 years sales.
  • Proven experience managing C-level executive relationships.
  • Deep industry expertise in specific verticals and products.
  • Deep existing relationships within agencies and clients.
  • Subject matter expertise in social media landscape.
  • Experience building long-term account growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated top-performer against sales targets.
  • Ability to manage a book of business of 20+ accounts.

We're looking for a sharp, positive, and motivated self-starter to join our Mid-Market team in New York! The Client Partner will be responsible for forming relationships with key brands and top Independent Agency teams to ensure they meet their business objectives using Reddit's advertising suite.

The person in this role is required to be based in the New York, NY area and should be available to work from the NYC office 1-2x per week.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act as the CEO of your book of business, and take full ownership of strategic bets, revenue forecasting, and ensuring operational rigor
  • Proactively manage and deepen relationships with existing advertising partners, both with agencies and directly with clients to drive year-over-year revenue growth
  • Collaborate with existing clients to deliver Reddit solutions that help achieve those customers’ marketing and business goals
  • Identify areas of additional opportunity within existing client relationships, including new lines of business, and move them through to close
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to create long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships between your customer base and Reddit
  • Construct upfront and joint business plans with top clients
  • Consistently meet deadlines for all projects, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of customer service
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients to communicate major platform updates, releases, changes, and/or opportunities that will deepen or expand the relationship
  • Provide strategic, proactive, and consultative advice to clients in order to uplevel and grow the relationship
  • Shape Reddit’s ads product roadmap by aggregating and sharing client feedback and campaign metrics with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership and act as a Reddit evangelist with partners and at industry events
  • Develop internal relationships, both within your direct team and cross-functionally, working together to deliver on client and business goals

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience in digital media with at least 1-3 years of experience in sales
  • Proven experience managing relationships up through C-level executives
  • Deep industry expertise in specific verticals, product types, and/or measurement solutions
  • Deep existing relationships within the independent agency and client direct space
  • Subject matter expertise in the social media landscape and native advertising
  • Experience building and executing long-term account growth strategies
  • Demonstrated top-performer achievement against sales targets
  • Ability to lead special projects
  • Ability to manage and scale a book of business greater than 20 accounts
  • Positive outlook, team player
  • Demonstrated high achievement against sales targets
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments
  • BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience
