Amazon games is looking for a Community Manager to lead the community strategy and tactics for our forthcoming AAA racing game, developed by Maverick Games.

You will have a passion for connecting the people who play video games with the people who make them. This role comes with a great opportunity to lead and scale our global community plans for one of the next titles in Amazon Games’ growing portfolio.

Key job responsibilities

  • Contribute to the global community strategy to build and foster engaged communities for our forthcoming racing game developed by Maverick Games

  • Build and maintain a world class feedback loop between the people playing the game and the people making the game

  • Work with stakeholders and leadership to deliver valuable customer and business insights

  • Monitor, evaluate and create actionable insights based on qualitative and quantitative data

  • Work closely on supporting the core team across social and editorial creative ideation and execution.

  • Help shape design and product change discussions, leveraging the deep understanding of a player perspective and product/gameplay expertise

  • Foster a positive, constructive, and communicative community of players that feel heard and appreciated

  • Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the importance of diversity and inclusion, both for our players and to inform our games

  • Act as the voice of the game team on our official channels

  • Immerse yourself in car culture, and build relevant community programs to attract and engage this audience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops)

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Experience in marketing or marketing research

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
