The Impact of a Development Manager, Core Orchestration:

As a Software Development Manager, you will lead the evolution of Coupa’s Core Orchestration Platform, delivering AI-driven autonomous processes like Approvals and Process Automation. You’ll manage and mentor an agile team of engineers, driving innovation by hiring and retaining top talent. Working closely with Product Managers and peers, you’ll define the technical roadmap, oversee release planning, and shape key architecture decisions. Your leadership will enable impactful enterprise SaaS solutions while fostering team growth and improving business processes. A strong background in enterprise software, agile management, and framework customization is essential.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the evolution of the Coupa’s Core Orchestration Platform, to deliver professional processes such as Approvals, Process Automation, and Notifications autonomously via AI
• Manage an agile team of engineers
• Hire, retain and motivate top talent on the team
• Define long-term roadmap and drive release planning and execution
• Be involved in technical architecture and design decisions
• Work closely with peers to ensure successful outcomes and improve business processes

What You Will Bring to:

• At least 3 years of agile team management experience as an engineering manager
• Enterprise software development experience in both leadership and contributor roles
• Expertise in framework development, application configuration, and customization
• Collaborates with PMs to co-innovate on impactful capabilities and functionalities for customers
• Strong ability to support and mentor individuals and teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with good understanding of enterprise SaaS products

The estimated pay range for this role in California is $174,250 - $219,000

The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
