Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Digital Platforms team. The role involves implementing, maintaining, and supporting AWS infrastructure for custom-developed solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with development and operations teams, building and deploying solutions in AWS, developing and maintaining RESTful application services and APIs using a Python-based event-driven platform, and building concurrent, scalable, and fault-tolerant designs. The candidate must be able to work independently, possess excellent communication skills, be willing to learn new technologies, and be on call.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience managing production cloud infrastructure at scale (AWS)
- Experience with CI/CD implementation
- Strong experience with Salt, Terraform, AWS CDK
- Strong scripting/programming experience (JavaScript, Java, PHP, Python, Node.js)
- Understanding of Windows, Unix/Linux, and networking
- Minimum 2 years of DevOps experience
- Excellent communication skills
- On-call availability

The Role:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will join the Digital Platforms team with energetic and high motivated team members. You will be part of a group responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting the AWS infrastructure for our custom developed solutions. Are you excited to quickly learn and fix problems? Deploy and maintain infrastructure? Participate in cloud architecture design?
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams to build and deploy custom solutions in AWS.
- Develop and maintain RESTful application services and APIs from a Python based event driven platform.
- Build concurrent, scalable and fault tolerant designs.
- Strong organization skills with high attention to detail.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal.
- Willing to learn new skills and implement new technologies.
- Must have the ability to be on call.
Key Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience managing production cloud infrastructure at scale (AWS)
- Must have experience with CI/CD implementation processes.
- Strong experience with Salt, Terraform, AWS CDK
- Strong experience with scripting / programming languages such as: JavaScript, Java, PHP, Python and Node.JS
- Good understanding of Windows, Unix/Linux operating systems and networking.
- Minimum 2 years of high-tech industry and/or IT work experience in DevOps roles
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal
