Fireworks AI is building the future of generative AI infrastructure, offering a platform with high-quality models and fast, scalable inference, backed by top investors. As Director, Field Marketing, you will plan and execute programs to drive adoption and revenue for technical audiences. This includes events, campaigns, and digital ABM, partnering across the company to strengthen market presence and deliver measurable results. This initial individual contributor role offers the chance to define overall marketing strategy in a dynamic market, with future leadership scope.
Must have:
  • Identify and implement remarkable experiences and activations in our marketing programs
  • Develop and execute a field marketing strategy to include: Trade shows, conferences and C+ Level customer and partner events
  • Regional developer and commercial events such as workshops and strategy briefings
  • Digital campaigns to support and accelerate sales pipeline including direct, ABM, and digital events channels
  • Plan, and deliver end-to-end event logistics, including budgeting, vendor/agency management, on-site execution, and post-event reporting
  • Ensure a closed loop of processes to ensure maximum impact and insights of marketing programs, including performance analysis and ensuring engagement and follow-up.
  • Build a repeatable playbook of activities to optimize user and customer journeys throughout adoption and buying processes

The Role:

Can you build remarkable experiences for technical audiences that help deliver adoption and revenue? As a Director, Field Marketing, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing programs designed to do just that. These programs may be events ranging from large developer events to intimate customer dinners, campaigns ranging from online events to digital ABM, and everything in between. You will partner across the company to align the best options to deliver on strategic priorities, strengthen our market presence, and deliver measurable results.

As one of the initial marketing team, you’ll get to make your mark in defining the overall marketing strategy and motion in a highly dynamic market. This role is initially an individual contributor role, with scope to lead teams as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create. Identify and implement remarkable experiences and activations in our marketing programs
  • Build. Develop and execute a field marketing strategy to include:

  • Execute. Plan, and deliver end-to-end event logistics, including budgeting, vendor/agency management, on-site execution, and post-event reporting
  • Measure. Ensure a closed loop of processes to ensure maximum impact and insights of marketing programs, including performance analysis and ensuring engagement and follow-up.
  • Repeat. Build a repeatable playbook of activities to optimize user and customer journeys throughout adoption and buying processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in B2B technical events marketing
  • Experience in managing a varied portfolio of marketing activities
  • Demonstrated “builder” mentality: self-motivation, excels at establishing processes, scaling programs, and bringing ideas to life
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication and influencing skills
  • Ability frequently travel for on-site event coordination
  • Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to excellence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Total compensation for this role also includes meaningful equity in a fast-growing startup, along with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Base salary is determined by a range of factors including individual qualifications, experience, skills, interview performance, market data, and work location. The listed salary range is intended as a guideline and may be adjusted.

Base Pay Range (Plus Equity)

$160,000 - $200,000 USD
