This role drives strategy to improve security team productivity and effectiveness while delivering long-term strategic value to customers. You will lead a team of product managers building platform solutions for transparency, reportability, and focus. Partner with business leaders to understand needs, evolve strategy, own a security program roadmap, and champion team efforts. Manage agile-based product teams to find business solutions for a complex organization in a complex space.
Must have:
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to understand operational challenges and opportunities.
  • Research ours and adjacent industries to learn how others are tackling similar challenges.
  • Become a subject matter expert and trusted partner to business teams.
  • Create and champion a security strategy that drives improved scale of our organization.
  • Distill the strategy into actionable concepts, timelines, and projects.
  • Build and maintain a security roadmap, assuring continuous alignment with broader business objectives and goals.
  • Make prioritization decisions to best utilize resources and make the case for new investments when appropriate.
  • Manage a team of Product Managers to develop new security functionality and compliance solutions.
  • Define metrics, measure results, make decisions based on data, and make adjustments to plans.
  • Lead efforts to continually improve teams’ ability to execute and be a champion of positive team culture.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, product leads, and executive leadership.
  • Lead regular Steering Committee meetings.
  • 12+ years of product experience and a track record of building solutions that create value.
  • 6 years management experience.
Good to have:
  • Experience in customer success, client performance management or client operations.
  • Experience with enterprise tool sets including Salesforce and Monday.com.
  • Able to gather input and familiarize yourself with a problem space to make well-informed decisions.
  • Proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing business relationships.
  • Able to create and structure a product roadmap for internal tools, systems, and processes.
  • Able to demonstrate empathy for our users and have a keen ability to listen and understand.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to set and drive quantitative goals.
  • Able to effectively lead a remote team.
  • Able to simplify complex ideas into clear and convincing communications.
  • Experience managing and implementing security programs, frameworks, or initiatives across an organization.

Job Details

This role will drive a strategy to improve the day to day productivity and effectiveness of our security teams while delivering long-term strategic value to our customers. You will lead a team of product managers who are building platform solutions to bring better transparency, reportability and focus to activities. You will partner with business leaders to understand their teams’ needs, and evolve the strategy to meet those in the long term. You will own a security program roadmap and champion your team’s efforts throughout the organization. This role will manage agile-based product teams and find the right business solutions for a complex organization operating in a complex space.

Primary Duties

  • Partner with stakeholders. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to gain a deep understanding of our operational challenges and opportunities. Research ours and adjacent industries to learn how others are tackling similar challenges. Become a subject matter expert and trusted partner to business teams.
  • Drive Strategy. Create and champion a security strategy that drives improved scale of our organization. Distill the strategy into actionable concepts, timelines, and projects. Build and maintain a security roadmap, taking ownership to assure continuous alignment with broader business objectives and goals. Make prioritization decisions to best utilize resources and make the case for new investments when appropriate.
  • Manage and Execute. Manage a team of Product Managers to develop new security functionality and compliance solutions to drive business goals. Define metrics, measure results, make decisions based on data, and make adjustments to plans based on quantitative and qualitative signals. Lead efforts to continually improve teams’ ability to execute and be a champion of positive team culture.
  • Communicate. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, product leads, and executive leadership to keep the organization apprised of strategy, efforts and progress against goals. Lead regular Steering Committee meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of product experience and a track record of building solutions that create value.
  • 6 years management experience.

Preferred KSA’s

  • Experience in customer success, client performance management or client operations.
  • Experience with enterprise tool sets including Salesforce and Monday.com.
  • Able to gather input and familiarize yourself with a problem space, to make well-informed decisions about strategy, priorities, and roadmap investments and you’ll lead and motivate teams to deliver on the vision you’ve created.
  • Proven track record of creating, maintaining, and enhancing business relationships and communicating effectively with senior management.
  • Able to create and structure a product roadmap for internal tools, systems, and processes.
  • Able to demonstrate empathy for our users and have a keen ability to listen and understand.
  • Have strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to set and drive quantitative goals.
  • Able to effectively lead a remote team.

  • Experience managing and implementing security programs, frameworks, or initiatives across an organization.

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
