Job Description

The Technical Director for the Amber DSS team will be responsible for maintaining the proper course of action and services around AI & Automation testing. The Technical Director is tasked with defining and implementing the AI & Automation vision and strategy, handling key AI and testing automation activities to support business strategies as well as overall improvement of the AI and Automation strategy. They will be actively involved in high-level process improvement initiatives and drive necessary changes within the team to constantly improve efficiency and quality while maintaining strong partnerships and open communication with all partners. They will be leading a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure successful project delivery.
Good To Have:
  • Experience in the gaming industry

The Technical Director is tasked with defining and implementing the AI & Automation vision and strategy, handling key AI and testing automation activities to support business strategies as well as overall improvement of the AI and Automation strategy. Is actively involved in high level process improvement initiatives and drives necessary changes in the team to constantly improve on efficiency and level of quality while keeping a strong partnership and open communication lines with all partners.

 

The Quest:

  • Technical Strategy: Develop and implement technical strategies for AI and Test Automation, aligning with company goals and objectives.

  • AI Solution Development: Oversee the development of AI-powered solutions, including machine learning models, natural language processing, and computer vision.

  • Test Automation Frameworks: Design and implement test automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality software delivery and efficient testing processes.

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Technical Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in AI and Test Automation, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and QA, to ensure seamless integration of AI and Test Automation solutions.

 

The Skills:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in AI, machine learning, and test automation, with experience in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading technical teams, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive technical innovation and improvement.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies, with a willingness to learn and grow.

 

Nice to have

  • Games industry: experience in the gaming industry.

  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • DevOps: Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.

  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
