What the Role Entails

Job Description

• Design and Production of In-Game Effects

Create and design visual effects used in combat, environments, UI, and other in-game scenarios.

• Implementation of Realistic Physical Effects

Develop realistic effects such as water, fire, smoke, and explosions to enhance game immersion.

• Integration with Animation

Combine character and object animations with visual effects to ensure consistent and cohesive visuals.

• Performance Optimization

Optimize effects for in-game performance without compromising visual quality.

• Effect Documentation

Prepare technical documentation for created effects to facilitate team communication and knowledge sharing.

Who We Look For

Qualifications

• Experience creating VFX using Unreal Engine (AAA or AA projects preferred)
• Proficiency with VFX tools, including Houdini, Embergen (for fluid simulations), Maya or 3ds Max (for effect models), and After Effects or Substance Designer (for texture creation)
• Strong skills in producing photorealistic effects
• Experience developing AAA action games is a plus
• Excellent artistic sense, creativity, and attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Salary

Annual salary: Negotiable (with salary increase/bonus)

*Salary will be determined based on experience, skills, etc., in accordance with company regulations.

*Includes 35 hours of fixed overtime per month. Overtime exceeding this will be paid separately.

Working Hours and Holidays

Working hours: 09:30 ~ 18:30 Break time: 60 minutes

Discretionary labor system may apply depending on position

Complete two-day weekend system (Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays)

Paid leave: For the first year of employment, granted proportionally based on the month of joining. Up to 22 days based on years of service.

New Year's holidays (December 30th to January 3rd)

Sick leave (paid): 12 days/year (granted separately from paid leave)
