Job Description
This Electrical Engineer II role involves designing, testing, manufacturing, installing, and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment and systems. Responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues during product development using simulations and testing. The engineer will prepare technical drawings and specifications to meet standards and customer needs, as well as consult with others on projects. Additionally, they may estimate costs for budget preparation.
Design, test, manufacture, installation, maintenance and application of equipment, devices, and systems which use electricity and electronics. Identify, analyze and resolve deficiencies and challenging problems during product development process using simulations, prototype testing, and feasibility studies. Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements. Consult with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products. May estimate labor, material, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes.
