ROLE
Level: Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for designing, developing pipelines and planning the deployment of the code to various environments as part of large-scale software solutions at enterprise level. You will work with functional and technical teams on the project located across shores independently leading and mentoring junior team members, collaborating to understand the functional requirements and translate them into work products. You will be involved in end-to-end delivery of the project from estimations, planning, execution and tracking metrics for analysis.
The work you will do includes:
Lead a team to manage application enhancements, break-fixes, standard applications changes and maintenance activities.
Establish guidelines for complex to critical issue handling, templates for optimization requests and ensure that the team follows them.
Lead and drive discussions with business and functional analysts to understand the business requirements and the impact of integration on the overall business architecture.
Prepare technical architecture and design; help shape requirements; and resolve ambiguities.
Develop solutions following established technical design, integration application development standards and quality processes in projects.
Establish technical design/development guides, templates and standards and ensure compliance.
Run the daily calls / scrum meetings with respect to deliverables and build the weekly status reports to be reviewed with leadership.
Perform detailed reviews on deliverables and provide technical guidance to the team members.
Interact with onsite clients, coordinator / scrum master, analyst and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams.
Design templates or scripts to automate everyday developer or operations functions.
Qualifications
Skills / Project Experience:
Must Have:
6 – 10 years of hands-on experience in Epic
Certified in any Epic module in Clinical, Revenue Cycle or Technical (e.g. ClinDoc, Optime, ASAP/Orders, Ambulatory, Resolute PB/HB, Grand Central, etc.)
Experience of leading a team with 10 members or more.
Deep understanding of application support and enhancement lifecycle, managing service levels, metrics and status reporting
Lead problem management to reduce recurring incidents and identify improvement opportunities.
Develops solutions for client problems through application of personal experience and standard methods and tools; validates solutions with subject matter experts.
Ability to perform system build and configuration in any EMR.
Strong US healthcare knowledge across clinical, ancillary and revenue cycle processes
Ability to identify team members and quickly ramping up teams for small to medium sized projects.
Ability to develop and maintain documentation of business processes /system enhancements.
Excellent communication (written/verbal), problem solving, analytical including effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform estimation of work products.
Proactive drive on improvement and innovation ideas
Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools.
Good to Have:
Excellent documentation skills such as - Application understanding, change management etc.
Ability to follow engagement specific project delivery processes.
Experience working on agile development teams (ideally leveraging Scrum or Kanban)
Understanding of interface engines
Education:
B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university.
MHA/B.E./B.Tech./MCA/MSc/M.Tech/MBA or any medical background
Prior Experience:
6 - 10 years of work experience Epic. Certified in any Epic module working with EHR platforms like Epic / Cerner / Allscripts and integration engines like FHIR/Rhapsody / Clover Leaf / Mirth Connect (e.g., ClinDoc, Optime, ASAP/Orders, Ambulatory, Resolute PB/HB, Grand Central, etc.)
