Job Description

The successful candidate will be working within the Technology Research Module organization, developing cutting-edge technologies. This role involves developing and maintaining Silicon epitaxy growth modules for Quantum Computing and other special projects within Intel's advanced manufacturing Fabs. The engineer will need hands-on expertise with module ownership, device fabrication, and characterization, collaborating daily with other groups to validate success criteria and independently design unique, enabling ideas.
Must have:
  • Experience as a module owner of Epitaxial Silicon growth on 300mm development lines
  • Experience with device integration and fabrication
  • PhD and 3+ years of experience
Good to have:
  • Multiple years of module ownership for Epi film growth
  • Expertise with the tools (process and metrology) needed to support EPI development
  • Understanding of CMOS devices and interconnects integration
  • Keen experimental insight with an ability to devise and focus on key experiments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to teamwork
  • The ability and passion to develop new skills to further team understandings to push team progress forward

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be working with in the Technology Research Module organization, who’s mandate is to develop cutting edge technologies to fuel the performance and success of our customers. We are a diverse team of process technologists that own and deliver the new materials, structures and processes that enable the development of forward looking device architectures.

We are looking for PhD level engineers to develop and maintain Silicon epitaxy growth modules for Quantum Computing and other special projects within Intel's advanced manufacturing Fabs. Hands on expertise with module ownership, device fabrication, device characterization/performance. You will need to efficiently communicate and collaborate daily with other groups to determine and validate success criteria. Independent design and follow-through of unique, enabling ideas is a key expectation from this role.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$153,540.00-$216,770.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
