This position involves providing solution-oriented consultative training, technical support, and troubleshooting at customer sites and remotely for bioMérieux’s diagnostic product lines. The role requires working with customers to ensure efficient implementation and successful launch of new instrumentation, retaining business, and collaborating with stakeholders. Key responsibilities include conducting technical training, providing ongoing support, cultivating strong customer relationships, answering customer inquiries, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing territory expenses effectively. The position is field-based, supporting the South Florida territory and requires extensive travel.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 1+ years of clinical lab experience
  • Experience with CLIA regulations preferred
Good to have:
  • bioMérieux product experience
  • ASCP or MLT certifications
  • Molecular experience
  • Laboratory Information System experience

Job Details

Position Summary: 
This position provides solution-oriented consultative training, technical support and troubleshooting at customer sites, and remotely, on bioMérieux’s diagnostic product lines. Effectively work with customers to achieve efficient implementation and go live of new instrumentation. Retain business, collaborate with stakeholders. 
 
This is a field based position supporting the South Florida territory (Miami, Ft Lauderdale, West Palm Beach). Candidates must reside within the territory or be willing to relocate. Extensive field travel is required - average 65-80% overnight stays. 
Primary Duties: 
  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMérieux’s Quality System.
  • Coordinate and provide technical training, consultation, and ongoing support of bioMérieux’s diagnostic product lines within the U.S. customer base.
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong professional relationships with all customers.
  • Answer internal and external customer inquiries and ensure regulatory compliance through timely and accurate documentation in bioMérieux’s CRM system; consulting as appropriate with Sales Partners, Application Specialists, Field/System Engineers, IT Resources, Management teams, and Local/Global Support Teams.
  • Provide consistent follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and meet minimum key performance indicators.
  • Responsible for efficient territory management within operating expense budget.
  • Support bioMérieux revenue initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, and/or as business needs dictate.
Education, Skills, & Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, technical, or life science field
  • 1+ years clinical laboratory experience or equivalent.
    • bioMérieux product experience preferred.
    • ASCP or MLT certifications preferred
    • Molecular experience is preferred but not required
    • Laboratory Information System, or Connectivity/Networking experience a plus.
  • Experience with guidelines with CLIA regulations and/or additional laboratory credentialing agencies preferred.
  • Experience with related technical field applications support strongly preferred.
