Canonical is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to lead regional marketing initiatives and drive pipeline generation in the EMEA region. This role will involve developing and executing localized marketing programs, supporting regional sales efforts, and engaging with enterprise customers, partners, and developers across various industries. The manager will collaborate with sales, SDRs, alliances, product marketing, and communications teams to plan and execute high-impact field marketing programs. The ideal candidate should be passionate about technology, marketing, and possess a hands-on approach, demonstrating ownership of campaigns, collaboration, and a drive to continuously improve.
Must have:
  • Experience in B2B marketing.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.
  • Hands-on mindset.
Good to have:
  • Experience working with the EMEA markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • A growth mindset, always testing, learning, and optimizing marketing efforts.

We are hiring a Field Marketing Manager

Location: Remote, EMEA

Canonical is looking for a Field Marketing Manager to drive regional marketing initiatives and pipeline generation in the EMEA region. This role will focus on developing and executing localized marketing programs, supporting regional sales efforts, and driving engagement with enterprise customers, partners, and developers across diverse industries.

As a key member of the marketing team, you will work closely with Sales, SDRs, Alliances, Product Marketing, and Communication teams to plan and execute high-impact field marketing programs, including events, account-based marketing (ABM), and regional demand-generation campaigns.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, technology marketing and the use of technology in marketing. They prefer to work in an environment that emphasises ownership of campaigns, collaboration, learning, curiosity and a drive to continually improve oneself / the team / the organisation. They love to problem solve, get hands-on, experiment, measure and use automation to make daily life easier.

This role reports to the EMEA and Americas regional marketing team manager.

What your day will look like

  • Develop and execute the regional go-to-market (GTM) strategy to generate demand and accelerate pipeline growth for specific assigned countries.
  • Work closely with Sales Teams to align marketing efforts with revenue goals and regional business priorities.
  • Plan and manage regional events, customer roundtables, and field marketing activities in close collaboration with sales and alliances teams.
  • Own webinars and virtual events from strategy to execution, ensuring high engagement and lead conversion.
  • Implement account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting high-value enterprise accounts in the region.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns across email, digital, social, and paid media to support regional sales objectives.
  • Work with the CRM and Marketing Operations team to track and optimize marketing funnel performance.
  • Collaborate with partner marketing teams to develop joint go-to-market (GTM) programs with strategic partners in the region.

We expect members of the Canonical marketing team to be excellent communicators who are at ease working with a complex mix of engineers, product managers, sales representatives and executives.

Your base pay will depend on various factors including your geographical location, level of experience, knowledge and skills.
