We are seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to join our team, working one day per week on either a Monday or Tuesday. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience by providing essential daily support to our finance team. The role requires some accountancy knowledge and involves assisting with various financial tasks and procedures.
Must Have:
  • Data entry into the accounting software Xero
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Organise supplier payment runs
  • Assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day tasks
  • Preparation of data for VAT Returns
  • Assist with ad hoc year end work including audit queries
  • Assist with various month end procedures, adhering to strict deadlines
  • Process monthly expenses for the business, liaising directly with employee queries
  • Review, organise, process and file invoices electronically
  • Other ad hoc duties
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient understanding of accounting principles
  • Good attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy is essential
  • Knowledge or experience with Xero
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft software package, particularly Excel

Hourly Wage: £12.60ph

We're looking for a part-time Finance Assistant to join our team, working one day per week on either a Monday or Tuesday. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to gain hands-on experience by providing essential daily support to our finance team. This role will be supporting our finance team and requires some accountancy knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Reporting into our Financial Controller you will have the following duties:

  • Data entry into the accounting software Xero
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Organise supplier payment runs
  • Assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day tasks
  • Preparation of data for VAT Returns
  • Assist with ad hoc year end work including audit queries
  • Assist with various month end procedures, adhering to strict deadlines
  • Process monthly expenses for the business, liaising directly with employee queries

Important:

The interview process for the Finance Assistant role is made up of 2 stages:

1st Interview – An 30 minute interview to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with our Financial Controller and Head of Talent. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.

Onsite interview – A final Interview with our Financial Controller and Finance Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
