As a Senior Pricing & Monetisation Analyst, yo will focus on evolving eBay's pricing strategies to optimize financial results and build strong customer connections.
We’re looking for a hands-on individual contributor who can both deliver pricing operations flawlessly in addition to advancing our pricing science. You will collaborate with UK/EU Monetisation teams for rate card changes, pricing contracts, and analytical model improvements. You will operate as an individual contributor to elevate our tooling, frameworks, and operational capabilities.
What You Will Accomplish
- Modeling & Analysis: Compose and apply elasticity and demand models to advise rate-card changes and incentive build. Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses and invent/run experiments to optimize pricing and incentives.
- Pricing Operations: Be responsible for implementation of promotions, rate-card updates, and special pricing contracts with auditability. Ensure detailed execution through rigorous QA, monitoring, and rollback planning.
- Automation & Reporting: Build and maintain SQL/Python pipelines to automate pricing analyses. Handle dashboards, anomaly detection, and documentation to drive operational excellence and consistency.
- Experimentation & Insights: Launch and evaluate pricing experiments, quantify causal lift, and integrate findings into decision frameworks that guide strategy.
- Leadership & Partnering: Take part in business and roadmap reviews with leadership, propose pricing scenarios, and encourage the implementation of pricing assets and protocols across teams. Collaborate with Monetization Managers, Finance, and senior team members to transform insights into clear, engaging narratives and practical suggestions.
What You Will Bring
- Experience: 2–3 years in pricing/monetisation analytics, growth analytics, or data science within marketplaces, e-commerce, B2B, or C2C platforms.

- Data Modeling: Hands-on experience building and applying elasticity models to forecast impact on revenues and volumes.
- Operational Rigor: Expertise in promo/rate-card setup and QA, anomaly detection, rollback planning, documentation/runbooks, and operational governance.
- Communication / Location: Professional English proficiency; ability to collaborate across UK/EU time zones with numerous stakeholder teams. Berlin-based or willing to relocate.
- Experience with fee optimization systems and advanced statistical methods (desirable)
- Knowledge of conjoint or other survey-based methodologies to assess price sensitivity when experimental data is limited (desirable)
- Experience with enterprise seller programs and pricing workflows linked to CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) (preferred)
