We are looking for you, a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join the Netherlands Group of dynamic and innovative media and creative agencies. As Finance Director you will be the 2nd in command to the CFO and in-charge of the day-to-day finance operations. Leading the finance team role extends to working closely with the business leaders and the near-shore Shared Service Centre. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with talented professionals across various disciplines.

As our Finance Director, you'll have the incredible power to build and demonstrate Finance as a centre of excellence that builds value in the business, through the following key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of the accounts per local Dutch GAAP and Groupe Reporting (IFRS), per the P&L and Balancesheet
  • Manage a Finance Team of 9 people
  • Work closely with Business Unit leads, Operations, HR, SSC and other stakeholders
  • Be the bridge between HR, Operations and Finance to ensure effective collaboration
  • Team with the CFO to develop a robust and scalable finance team & infrastructure using appropriate tools, systems and resources (including near and off-shore delivery centers)
  • Own the internal control framework: ensuring Groupe compliance and operation of controls
  • Manage effective controls and process over per Staff and Operating Costs that ensure budget improvements and or budget adherence
  • Own the Netherlands Working Capital KPIs in close collaboration with EMEA Treasury and the the remote AP and AR control teams: actuals and forecasts
  • Prepare, in consultation with the SSC, Statutory report and manage the audit process in compliance with financial regulations (IFRS), internal policies and processes
  • Own the Close-The-Books monthly and quarterly cycles
  • Own the balancesheet per analysis and aged reporting with support from SSC
  • Together with F,P&A ensure a robust Management Information function that facilitates business decision making from KPI setting, analysis and management
  • Support FP&A with forecasting insights and analysis of variations
  • Provide creative ad-hoc reports and analysis
